NPC Merchants & Player Trading

Buy, sell, trade, give, and drop items. NPC shops with reputation-affected pricing.

Full item exchange system implemented. Every way you'd expect to move items between players and NPCs is now supported.

Player-to-player trading uses escrow-style mechanics — both parties must agree before items and gold swap. No scams, no take-backs mid-trade.

Give items directly to another player. The recipient can accept or decline.

Drop items to the floor for anyone to grab. Useful for sharing loot, leaving gifts, or clearing inventory in a hurry.

NPC merchants have their own inventory with pricing modifiers affected by player reputation — better rep means better prices. Shops restock on real-time intervals, so cleaning out a merchant's potion supply has consequences.

30+ items in the game including weapons, armor, potions, and quest items. The foundation is laid for the full economy system to come.
